Boat Labs introduces its first media-controlling smart ring.

Boat, an Indian manufacturer of consumer electronics, unveiled its first smart ring, which has a high-end ceramic and metal construction. The Boat smart ring, which costs Rs 8,999, functions as both an activity tracker and a health monitor, able to track heart rate, sleep, body temperature, and SpO2.

The Boat smart ring may be worn when swimming or taking a bath and is 5 ATM water and dust-resistant. The smart ring is available in three sizes and may last up to 7 days on a single charge.

The boat smart ring's clever touch control mechanism, which enables users to control music playing, take images, and browse through Instagram reels, is its major point of differentiation. The boAt ring app, which provides a variety of health statistics like fitness management, recovery status, sleep tracking, and more, can be used with both Android and iOS smartphones to utilize the Boat smart ring.

Additionally, the smart ring may be utilized to make emergency calls. Starting on August 28, Flipkart and Amazon will offer the Boat smart ring for sale.

In addition to boAt, companies like Noise recently unveiled their first smart ring, which is quite comparable to the one offered by boat. These smart rings provide features and capabilities that are comparable to those of a low-cost fitness band or smartwatch but without a display.
